I'm not sure how old the tanks are. They should be cleaned due to old gas. The back/top of the main tank is visable from the engine compartment it from what I can see it looks to be in good condition.

The previous owner claimed mid 40's but I can not verify that. Yes the bell housing is standard GM.

The engine is raw water cooled. It was rebuilt 7 years ago and only has about 25 hrs on the rebuild from what I was told by the previous owner, It...

Try opening the manual release valve, lifting the engine then closing the valve and letting it go back down. If that dosent work you might have to remove the trim motor and fill the cavity/pump area...
