I actually out ran the Speed Merchant one year on the way to Paradise Island from Abaco during the BBC, only because they were limping along on one engine! Have not seen it in a while, dont even know...

I think that if your trying to have kids, I'd freeze some stuff before painting :D I really dont think that any of this stuff is good for you (resin, paint, etc.) :D

Wish I had that problem. Its more like a Garlington than a Jim Smith, has Garlington lines, flare, and air sept.

The bottom black stripe is 1 1/2" and sits 3/4" from the chine. The center "white" is 3/4", and the top black is 3/4". We kept it simple by using a roll of 3/4" tape
and 1 1/2" tape.

The vents help keep air circulating through the bilge which from what I've read helps keep things from corroding/deteriorating as quickly. I closed the ones in the back

The hull sides and all of the interior are snow white Awlgrip. I wanted to use egg shell for the deck, but the snow white with the non-skid mixed in turned out nice, I think that the next one I do...

I dont know the size of the nut. If the cylinder is bad/leaking, you can order just the cylinder. If there is no evidence of the seals going bad, your system may have air in it. You can purge it out...

Alot of work was done to the console, you can see the console in the first pic before we started on it, there were alot of holes that we filled, I wanted a clean boat, so it took alot of work.
