ok i got the transom out it looks like someone had done a crappy job of replacing it before.the stringers were full of carpenter ants so i opened them up was the wood that was in there just something...

thanks,I guess it doesn't really matter it had seacraft decals on it and the hull is identical to my master angler except the angler has higher gunnels and a different layout,the ga dnr has allready...

propane and paint
does anyone know if propane burns clean enough to lower the humidity and raise the temperature in my shop so i can paint my 20 master angler?

I have put 1 coat of pettit white undercoater and 1 coat of bikini blue,sanding between coats but because of the colder weather i'm stopped unless I can use awlgrip or something I can put acelerator...

ok just measured my leading edge of lower unit is 40 inches back from transom and cav plate is 4 inches up.will try to post pictures

Yep just went out and measured and best i can tell while fighting off a swarm of sqeeters is it looks like cav plate is 5 inches above keel
