Yes, completely missing. It was not there when purchased. I may cut the other one off to match. They are both a little loose in various places too.

Whats the best way to locate the screws in the existing teak? Would a stud finder work? I guess that I would have to drill down through the plug, find the screwhead, and either tighten it or replace...
