Snookered- When you say "The 80's 18s had the console moved forward to offset the heavier 18's (80-87)."

Do you mean the late 80s hulls are hevier to offset the heavier 1980s motors so they moved...

I know the guys on this site love the potter builts. What makes them that much better than the 80's models? My real question is, would a 1989 18' SF be worth renovating? Is it a good boat?

I have been looking for a 70's or 80's seacraft when I found a 1990. Does anyone know how the 1990 models were made? I think that someone on this site told me they were not make by potter anymore...
