Ok, so if I am shopping for a 20'SF, do I need to worry about a bracket if it has one? Assuming the fuel tank is pretty far forward, is the additional length of the bracket a turtling hazard?

I had good luck with a completely full tank of gas in my motorcycle and some StarTron. I drained the float bowls in the carbs for the winter. Worked great for 2 (four stroke) motorcycles last year.

I don't know anything about the etecs. I know I love my other Honda because it ALWAYS starts. The economy is nice as is the lack of two stroke fog.

I was even thinking dual 50s and no kicker with...

This is a good thread to read. I was wondering about a Honda BF90 on a bracket on a 1971 SF20. The bracket is aluminum, but i will foam fill it. A honda BF90 is 370lbs more or less. I don't need more...

yeah, that was why I was maybe thinking dual 90s at 365 lb each. For some reason I think earlier BF90s were lighter at a 1000cc size but I have to go google that.

I wanted to ask the same question and stumbled across this thread. But I have a different desire. I want to use a 23CC with a hermco bracket and run from Boston Harbor towards Newport R.I....
