carpet adhesive- removal

Hey Guys. What would be the minimum horsepower single engine outboard for a seavette? The transom needs to be rebuilt, should it be built for 25 or 30 inch? leave as notch or go with flotation...

Did you sea trial her? did she roll alot at rest( port to starboard)? she only has 18 degrees deadrise, I thought it would be a stable vessel?Her beam is just under 10 feet? maybe due to outboard...

the outboard conversion is nice, but you lose the originality of this classic. I love the look of the clean transom with the huge transom mounted rudders hanging on the stern.

I am about to close on a deal for a 1969 seamaster 27 flybridge with twin chrysler 360 inboards,not running.Should I remove and replace these engines with new longblocks and reinstall(keep original)...
