18 Seacraft 150 VMax question

I’m going to look at a 1987 18 Seacraft that has a 2002 Yamaha 150 VMax 2 Stroke. Specs say that the VMax weighs 418 pounds. Is that engine too heavy for the hull? Transom looks to be original 20”....

Did you all see the next video in the series when they took the same hull and put 2 more engines on? Added a 25hp Merc 4s and a 15hp tohatsu 2s and got it up to 33mph.

Update

Found a 2006 F250 with 650 hours and had it hung last week. I picked up the boat on Wednesday. Mechanic did a great job hanging the engine and rigging controls etc

I am very happy with the motor....
