SeaDog has all kinds of gas filled lifts and i was thinking their 20" x 20lbs would be sufficient but they don't offer any mounting instructions with regards to where to mount the brackets.

Well I fabricated and installed coaming bolsters on my 18SF a while back and now the fish box lid in the bow binds against them on the sides when i open it and I have to hold the lid to keep it open....

Battery relocation

Anyone relocate their battery from the rear side compartment to the center console on an 18SF ? What gauge wire did you use ? I'm planning to relocate mine, running a 1998 Yamaha C115.

If you have the original console it will not fit. It requires a 9 1/8'' X 4 15/16'' cut out and the overall dimensions are 9 3/4'' X 5 1/2''.
