West Systems will vehemently disagree that you can't put gelcoat over epoxy. Its a mechanical bond, not a chemical bond, so your mileage may vary.

Poly folks, I see the 52 gallon Moeller would fit nicely under deck. And at $350 I'm sure significantly cheaper than aluminum.
