Re: Vintage Seacraft 21' -- 1963

Carla: Thanks for the update, I delivered the boat to FL about 2 AM and headed back that night to VA. Carl was at his mountain place, so I only talked to him on the phone. Later found out we had a...

Re: Vintage Seacraft 21' -- 1963

My son sold a classic 19' outboard bowrider to Carl Moesly a couple of years ago. It was a freshwater boat and he wanted to restore it. I can't disclose the price only that it was delivered to his...

Re: 23 Tsunami vs. Sceptre

Thanks for the clarification. Now I know the '79 boat did not have a hardtop when new (I thought that might be a differnce betwen the two.) Anyone know if there was a factory outboard model? This '79...

23 Tsunami vs. Sceptre

What is the difference between the two? My son had a '74 23 that he called a Sceptre but it looked like the Tsunamis in forum pics. Info would be helpful in identifying a '79 I acquired recently.

Re: twin 225's on a 23 scepter

The 23 is a 1979 model (Scepter or Tsunami?) and has an heavy top welded over much of the cockpit which probably adds a few of hundred pounds. Running a single 225 might be a sensible option (and...

twin 225's on a 23 scepter

Bought a 23 with mid 80 150 Mercs awhile ago. To avoid dealing with motor problems I am considering putting a couple of 2000/2001 225 Mercs on it (that are on a larger boat.) Has anyone run a 23 with...

Re: 1973 Seacraft CC

State why you are selling. Price is negotiable? say so; Make sure, and say, trailer is roadready for the distant buyer. Offer a test ride. Advertise locally.

1966 19 ft. Bowrider for sale

Don't think I'll ever get around to restoring or even refurbing this classic SeaCraft. It is being advertised on traderonline as a favor, but I thought it might be worth mentioning here. The boat is...

Want to Buy Ads

Forum members should post these. Some third parties don't want to mention local "buys" in a forum like this, but would pass on the number in a WTB to an owner who doesn't want to advertise or take...

Re: 1966 19 ft. SeaCraft

I think I'll put a late 90's 20" transom 150 Johnrude on the SeaCraft and see how it performs. I like the idea of passing these pricey boats. The SeaCraft is more boat than you need most of the time...

Hull of 19 ft. 1966 vs. later 20 ft. hulls

I finally pulled the old SeaCraft alongside the house to clean it before serious refurbing. Coincidentally, someone left an mid 80's 20 in the yard temporarily and I noticed, (not for the first time)...

Re: 275 hp Merc '93 low hours

Before my son sold his 23' SC two years ago he considered converting the I/O to an outboard with a bracket (like a 20 he had), but couldn't find a reasonable motor this size. That's why I thought of...

Re: 275 hp Merc '93 low hours

I already admitted I'm wrong a lot! The motors (there are 2) are 1991 but may have been installed later as the Capt told us. He had run the boat years earlier and we looked him up (he was not...
