They are designed to drain while underway. If you look under the boat forward of the drains there should be a slight bump in the hull. This causes a low pressure area at the drain to bull the water...

OK guys here it is.
1969 20' open fish center console. Old 140 hp Johnson--runs--. appears to have some cracks in gelcoat from hard dockings (cap). Cell # 941 353 6055. Sign says $4,300 obo. light...
