Careful using that can spray foam: that stuff is open cell and soaks up water like a SPONGE.... can get pretty gnarly and harbor mold etc.

You want to start with a leader length of 10-20' depending on your taste. I personally fish 12-15' leaders. Leaders then go to a swivel to connect mainline.

I would use no less than 8 lb density myself but that is because I only believe in doing a job once. The 8 lb is nice and hard. You may be able to get away with 4lb if you layer up the glass cap...

Wattaways looks pretty good- I personally like going 2.5-3" above the outside chine all the way up and adding a boot stripe as well. Really makes the sharpness of the forward lines pop. IMHO
