I got all the old wood out from the edges and made the template over the weekend. Also purchased the marine ply on Friday. Hope to get it all put back together this week/weekend.

I also have a 77 MA and it has 20" transom. Looking at replacing transom this upcoming winter but not sure whether to leave at 20", raise to 25", or close up completely and add a bracket.

New owner 77 SeaCraft 20

Got my hands on a '77 SeaCraft 20 with a '79 Mariner 175 at the end of the summer last year and finally got it cleaned up and on the water.
