Been to the factory.....seen how regulator buids them great boat ! The saltwater series burns a lot of gas.....good motores but that why they came out with the HPDI motors.

The boats a 2001 25' Sea Craft twin 150 Opti's Ice Blue hull.........she's a pretty boat. Bought it new in Florida from Bass pro.....and hauled it back to jersey. Been reworking lots...

Thanks for the response, I also bought 3 extra bolts. I run twin 150's on the 25'and figured that I should have them on hand. The tuff part is getting the broken part out of the...

150 optimax........alternator bolt snapping
ok guys ........how many of you have heard of this problem.I found the alternator bolt snapped off doing the winter storing thing last fall. Replaced it then ......and now with 10 hrs on it another...

Might be for the anchor locker.........stuffed in the bow. They use balsa core..........shure hope they used plently of soild glass around it.....and no core !

Im thinking about doing the same on my 2001 25' SC Saw a great top at the Atlantic city boat show on a 28' Triton.....custom made by the guys that build tops for Hatteras moulded in nav...

The problem with Sea Craft is Bass Pro Shops !I have been to the plant in Florida. Remember ....they build Mako and seacraft side by side.....the difference being Seacraft uses no wood and Mako does....

My 25'with twin 150 opti max running at 4000 rpm gets 7gph per motor thats with full fuel and gear boat hold 166 gals of fuel.The boats dry weight is 3650 lbs

The 150 opti max motors are rated to 5750 rpm's check the altenator bolts........they come loose as mine did and 2 other friends have also...
