Turns out the power head is fine. The problem was the lower unit gear oil was bone dry, so the lower unit went (thank god). The seal was bad on the drain plug.

I had a problem using that aerosol sprayer with the glass jar attached to spray the gel coat. It really never sprayed well. Is there anything out there that is better? thanks.
