Filling in vent holes
I have a 23 with outboards. I want to fill in the vents on the hull sides. Is this going to cause any problems,with possible gas fumes, or any other problems.

Prop for suzuki 140
Going to getting a Suzuki DF140 for my 18ft. next week and I would like to know what the best prop will be for this setup and if anybody has the Commander Tach. with the fuel management fuction.

Would a 115 suzuki 4 stroke be enough power on a 18. Does anybody have the numbers of a 115 on a 18, would it have problems getting on plan, and what would the top end be.

Would that weight be ok if i put a floation bracket on the boat. If so what is a good one to buy. My other option is a yamaha f115 but i am worried about speed and getting on plan.

I Have a 25in. So i am think it should be fine. The 200 Hpdi weights less than a 150 Hpdi so why not go with more power.

Anybody have a 200 hpdi on a 18. It weights 466 so should not have problems with scuppers. Anybody have any thoughts?

So does a 1985 18 have a 20 or a 25 original transom. I have read that it has both, or does different years have different transom heights.
