Hooper - I know what you mean,every single time I run the boat I get comments.People love the classic lines, they can't believe it's a 73.I don't think there's another boat in this size class that has the eye appeal.
I have a friend with an old 38 Bert that is really nice.One day I'm cruising out of the harbor and he is ready to cast off for some bluefishing with a doctor friend of his.I had my 2 sons with me, and my buddy says to his friend "you want a real treat, lets go with Bill".We hammered the blues, and I was working like a mate - this doc had the day of his life.Things got pretty snotty and we were rolling while chunkin,but on the way in, with a big following sea those 2 big guys just sat in front of the console and were amazed at the ride and how quick we could run in with those seas.And the best thing is that this boat ain't fancy, but it didn't cost me an arm and a leg, and it's paid for. I think it's a keeper.
