Default Re: Comment on your SeaCraft

I like to brag about mine a little bit too, just not too loud because when I had my former boat (a 23 Mako inboard) I used to call us "seacraft snobs" but was quietly a little jealous. So went the opportunity presented itself, I became one although I try to remember what it was like before and how people used to look down their noses at everybody else around here and I will not be that type of person. Nuff said

What I find interesting is that I have now had mine for 6 years, I have offers to buy it monthly even though she is not for sale. I currenntly have one person calling weekly (If he calls and offers me"Big Money" Ill take it and then go get me another one)but he wont let it go as of now. 90% of all my fishing buds fish old seacrafts, 1 was trying to find one , couldnt , but found and old 23 formula and restored it and now has a great platform. I am very proud of my boat and even if the inboard is not the fastest one around, those that run by me right outside the inlet are soon behind me while Im chuggin along in comfort . Some of the "other big name brands" just a poundin. lol, I learned. Oh , forgot to add , i was at a local function we do for special kids last Sunday and I walked over to chack out a local radio show host new 26'Cat boat (Catchin with Capn Reese, sat mornings 6 to 8 am 850 on your AM dial). This is a brand new boat rigged to the 9's and all I have been hearing is how nice a ride , etc etc etc. Anyhow's someone asked me if I would trade my SC for this boat. I kinda looked at it with hmmmm, looks real nice, my consider it.(80K in this boat)Anyways I was met with lpooks of surprise and gasps that I would even consider it. (One was a local outdoors writer for local paper who was on the boat). I know better now!!!! Sorry for the long post, cheers!!!
