I may have mentioned this earlier but here’s some of my observations and experiences

I worked on several large Sportfishing boats all through high school and college. As a result of this and being on and around real quality Sportfishing boats including Bertram, Viking, Davis, Merritt and Rybovich’s all meticulously maintained you get a true sense of what’s good and what’s not ….All of these owners always spoke very highly of SeaCrafts as a boat they would own…. and the bigger point is that these guys could have anything they wanted and did. So in listening very carefully I learned it was one of the best boat designs out there…just looking at the lines of the boat says volumes. Now when I go back to that marina and I see some of my old acquaintances and they ask what I have ……. Its always greeted with high approval.

Billybob I agree with you on the simple factor…..as with many of the boat mentioned above they were all clean , uncluttered and functional …… And that’s what I want for mine. Sometimes things were not the most practical …..but we always figured ways around it (mainly storage issues) . Some people like everything including the kitchen sink on the boat …… I think my past owner was one of them….boat had more holes topside than Swiss cheese. Me … the more simple the better

Miles …Me Too!!!!! To the point that the Marina even called me one day and asked if I wanted to sell as a patron of the marine said there was a For Sale sign on my boat……NOT MY BOAT!!!!

Just goes to show some people will do anything for one of these hulls.
