Default Re: Before & After! - Hammer's 20 CC

Thanks Guys for all the kind words!! You all know when you do a restore on an old boat it always turns out to be more than you first think.
Trayder answered most or your questions but I’ll try to answer the rest.
It is Awlgrip and it was sprayed. Fighting Lady Yellow and Fleet White on the bottom and console. The inside is all original, I wet sanded it with 1000 grit sandpaper and buffed the inside.
You can see I raised the transom to 25” to put a long shaft motor on and took off the low bow rail, filled the holes and put on a pop up bow light and 8” pop up cleat. Then we rolled the top with gel coat to redo the nonskid.
The leaning post was made by “Offshore Towers” in Mobile AL. I looked at Birdsall and liked this one a little better, plus I could touch it before I bought it.
If you have any questions I’ll be glad to try to answer them and will be glade to give you my phone number ‘cause I talk faster than I type.
Special Thanks to Trayder, Chris, and John R for posting the pics.
