Default Re: Ocean Pro

Hi Guys, the OceanPro Boats you are referring to are made by a small shop in Broward County, Florida. The guy that owns Pola's Outboard Marine (used to be a Evinrude dealer)knocked off a 23 SeaCraft to create his OceanPro Boats. I looked at these boats a couple of years ago - by accident. The transom has been designed to incorporate an engine mounting platform similar to a Contender. These boats also have an all fiberglass structural grid and stringer system in the hull. The boats appear to be solid but...???? While he knocked-off the hull, he did not copy any of the other parts: cap, deck, console, etc. These parts he created from his own molds and they are are not very sophisticated in nature...Keep in mind these boats not a "production set-up". They are manufactured in the "back" of this guys engine shop (at least when I saw them). Not affiliated with OMC/Bombardier - not sure how he can use that OceanPro name???
Stick to the original...
