What I'm interested in understanding is the benefit(s) of the SeaCraft hull design. To my eye, its uniqueness comes from not having strakes, but rather "steps" in the hull.

What are the benefits (and drawbacks) to the ride this hull gives? [img]images/icons/rolleyes.gif[/img]
