This thread has some good observations (not just cause I posted there too)...

Most boats consist of Design, Construction, and Maintenance/Upgrades.
SeaCraft is as well designed as any boat on the market.
The construction has been pretty good all the way along, but alot of rigging
in the newer boats is not as good as it could be.
Maint/Upgrades are different from boat to boat. A well kept SeaCraft,
or for that matter, any other quality boat, really dosent degrade over
time, only the motors get replaced, and rigging gets fixed/updated.
I have seen SeaCrafts that were abused/neglected and were junk.
As far as a bad year, I'm have not seen any specifics on construction or
rigging defects that were attributed to a specific year. I believe all
manufactures make a bad boat from time to time though. If a seacraft
or any other boat is 10 years old, has been fished like alot of them have
been (really hard), If there are any problems they will show up quickly.
Well, thats my 2 cents.
