As finster said .... it will cost a bit to Bracket and Re-power .... HOWEVER…. If your happy with your hull and it performance… PLUS you know the condition its in.....I dont know as though I would let all that go unless you were looking to bigger....I'm sure you can sell the motor and outdrive that you currently have ..... the transom work would be limited to the hole that the outdrive leave (assuming the transom's in good shape to start)

Buying a "new" boat is buying a whole lot of new "opportunities" (or problems depending on how you look at it) ...... Even if you found a really good deal on something, a hull, you would most likely spend that kind of money on engines and bracket anyhow.....plus a full restore of the rest of the boat ...in other words it would ultimately cost a lot more to start and finish a new project than to just re-power what you’ve got ... How I see it is you've got the hull where you want it ..... I would go for new power personally. [img]images/icons/wink.gif[/img]
