If you haven't bought the boat yet, I would try and shop around for a single I/O Tsunami/Sceptre that you can repower.

Regardless, some of the more experienced guys can fill you in on the details of how to make this transformation if you're dead set on doing it. For starters, you'll probably have to re place the transom and modify the floor. You;ll also need to build new motor mounts for the single set up and fill in the old mounts from the dual setup. Also, don't forget about all of the wiring, fuel lines (and maybe some plumbing) that will need to be modified/replaced.
