Yeah, I'd be interested in hearing others views too. I know Fellow-Ship thinks a single 200+hp is the way to go on a 23 and shared that view a while ago. I have seen some 23s here that look so stern heavy, not only would it make me worry 20 miles offshore, it spoils the look too.

Except, except... my only question would be reliability. I plan to fish mine offshore and I sure would feel more comfortable with 2 motors on the back should one develop problems.

If anyone knows a workable performance/weight distribution/reliability outboard compromise I'd be intrested to hear.
