I just spoke with a guy that has a new 23' with twin 225 optimax ob's on an armstrong flotation bracket. He says they are way too heavy. About 575 each with a ss prop. Your weight estimate on the single Honda 200/225 is off. They weigh in just over 600lbs each with a ss prop. My suzuki 115's weigh 416 lbs each. They were on my transom. I would consider the weight slightly too much. This weekend I am installing an armstrong dual flotation bracket. Hopefully this will help keep my stern up. Just the fact that now my transom will be enclosed will give me quite a bit of peace of mind, not to mention about 2 feet of deckspace. I am converting the baitwell to dry storage. I 'll let you know in a few days of the progress and will surely post some progress pix.
