I like to overkill when it comes to trailer also. Good to go with a trailer that fits your budget and also have a lasting life. Larger tires, axles, spindles, etc. will cost but will also last longer even with corrosion. Future add ons, redos may also contribute to unforseen added weight. Just an opinion.
