I like the Bose 151 and 131 environmental speakers. I have learned that if the speakers are not out of the wind and directly in your face, they have little value underway.

I will be installing the 3.5" dia. Polyplanner waterproof speakers directly in the console with the guages facing right at me.

A nice 200 watt amp never hurt anybody...
