It's hard to match the old piece because of the round corners. The jig for that piece is long gone. I think Taco made it back when for Seacraft.
Without dumping the piece You have, you can fare the pits with "EPOXO 88" a fast setting epoxy compound (6 mins) made by FASCO. It is used for multiple marine applications Urethane, metal,fiberglass, foam, glass and wood. Then have it powder coated or painted awlgrip, Imron etc to match your hull.
