WELL I DID TWO HRS OF PAINTING TODAY ROLLER AND TIP. I USED A VERY SHORT NAP ROLLER AND A GOOD BRUSH. I HAD SOME SHORT NAP ROLLERS I BOUGHT SO I THOUGHT I WOULD USE ONE ON THE FIRST COAT TO SEE WHAT I THING. I FOUND OUT WHAT ONE PAINT GUY TOLD ME WAS RIGHT WHICH IS THAT THE ROLLERS IS ONLY A DELIVERY VEHICLE TO GET THE PAINT ONTO THE PROJECT AND THE BRUSH IS WHAT DOES THE REAL PAINTING. I ALSO FOUND THAT I STILL HAD A LINT PROBLEM EVEN THOUGH I CLEANED THE SURFACES WELL BEFORE I STARTED. I THINK FOR THE FINISH COAT I WILL USE A FOAM ROLLER (NO LINT ON IT) AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS. I WILL PROBABLY STILL USE THESE SHORT NAP ROLLER COVERS FOR THE NO SKID WORK. I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO CHECKING OUT WHAT I DID WHEN I GET HOME TODAY. PAINTING THE STUFF IS NOT MUCH DIFFERENT THAN PAINTING ANY OTHER PAINT WHEN YOU GET INTO IT. THEY DO SAY THAT THIS PAINT DOESN’T HADE IMPERFECTIONS BUT SHOWS THEM IS A ACCURATE STATEMENT. IF THE PRIMER HIDES THE PROBLEM YOU ARE OK IF THE PRIMER DOESN’T HADE THE PROBLEM THE PAINT WILL NOT ETHER.
I DID DRILL HOLES ON THE SIDES OF THE STRINGERS AS CLOSE TO THE HULL AS POSSIBLE. AS FOR THE BATTERY PLATFORM YOU ARE RIGHT TO GET IS ALL REMOVED YOU DO NEED ACCESS. I STARTED BY TESTING UNDER WHERE THE BATTERY’S SAT WHEN I FOUND A BIG PROBLEM I STARTED REMOVING IT. I DID GET ALL THE WAY BACK THERE BUT WHEN I REMOVED THE TWO HATCHES AND LIVE WELL IT OPENED THAT AREA AND I CLEANED IT UP AT THAT TIME.
