Thanks for the reply.....I contacted Sterling Paints today and they sound like the paint I want to go with...sounds more forgiving than Awlgrip and easier to attain the high gloss finish. and It sounds like you are confirming that. Paint is suppose to be as tough as the others and the primer can be put on and left in the sun and it will suffer no UV damage (a plus in my case) Just needs a light sanding right prior to topcoating.

Also there customer/technical support is great...very willing to give any and all info to make the job come out right....The only downside is I think the paint is more expensive then Awlgrip.....but hey if it works and the finish comes out looking professionally done ... so be it!!!!! Oh yeah they are sending application guides color charts and actual color chip samples of the hull color and the topside colors I'm thinking about [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img]
