You really don't need that wide trim on the transom.On mine, I ended up cutting off the F/G cap that is part of the splaswell, so I could get to the wood in the transom and then afterwards I glassed the transom to the splashwell nice and solid.Seems that gap between the transom top and splashwell lip is a notorious place for letting water get to the transom core if it's not sealed well.But I still needed a small trim to break off the liner color from the hull color and I couldn't find any either. I ended up using stair nose trim that they sell at Home Depot,cost about 5 bucks,a couple mitre cuts in the corners and it looks pretty good.
