I've looked at that method too. Looks good to me just a little more involved than the foam method. I would think its better to do it that way though (using Pascoe's method). The last tank install was a combo method.....rubber strips on the bottom of the tank and foam on the sides [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img] Oh yeah when I pulled the foam off the sides of the tank there was quite a bit of corrosion....and from the looks of the topside of the tank it wasnt that old.

Just an FYI .... I took my tank out last fall and it was only foamed on the sides. It came out real easy ... so to speak...just jammed a saw down in the foam and started to hack away. Sooner or later it will break free ( there's always the come-along and chain method of tank removal [img]images/icons/shocked.gif[/img] ). I've got the larger console on the boat and was able to get the tank out without removing the console. What made that easy was that I did not have any bulkheads forward or aft of the tank...but will most likely put in bulkheads when it goes back together.
