I can understand your concern. In South Fl. we will use our boats year round. This means we get pounded at times. If I understand where your damage exists.....it's a point where you absorb most of that pounding. If you can get to the inside...by all means do so. Dont know how you would accomplish this without lifting the deck though. Some wonderful fiberglass folks in Key west. suggest they take a look at it. I always refer to "The Fiberglass boat repair manual" By Allan H Vaitses. Water comming out on the driveway is not to be taken lightly. Gather intel from some experts, and do it right. Overglass the area to stronger than it was is my suggestion.
