Re: my 20 sceptre transom rebuild
EBEACH I know how you feel. I have have gotten more work done in the past two weeks then in the last three months. My hats off to any one here doing a big job. I finaly got my fuel hatch re cored this week cut the dash for the guages and switch panel and got the gas tank in the boat and all wires and hoses connected. I have been losing sleep thinking about the first fill up and if all my connections were tight. Filled it tonight and all went well it was only $89 to fill it. Still need to do all the wiring and bilge pumps but its down to small projects now. I could not believe the time and effort to do a nice job recoring the fuel hatch and its a small one at that, you guys with the 23's have you hands full. Just keep working and it will get to the point that its all comming together. I no longer look at "all" I have to do to get it in the water I only look at one job at a time and work until its done then move on. I did find my car keys I lost in November under he boat tonight when I left for the gas station that was a big plus Take lots of pics of the transom job. Also what are you using for resin? I've been hooked on West System for a while and just used up my third gallon this winter $$$ good ting I'm almost done! Good luck and be gald you can work inside. My electric bill is going to be of the wall this month running my heater in there so much, spring is just around the corner!
