Good to have you on the board and getting SeaCraft fever!

I'd be real wary of that one. It sounds like the integrity of the stringers or their attachment to the hull may be questionable. I have never noticed any "oil canning" on my 20' or any other SeaCrafts I've been on. If you do pursue it I'd have a qualified surveyor check it out thoroughly.
