tango - i know your boat is a seafari that the cabin cut off, and since im redoing a seafari i can tell you whats going on, i had the same problem when then the 2 cabin bulkheads were out, but now that i had replaced them it is noticably stiffer, but not to my satisfaction soo ill be adding and teak bulkhead that will have rod holder but outs mid way between the transom and cabin bulkhead, since your going with a center console from he same setup as mine id suggest install two bulkheads on each side in the places i mentioned, any other questiones about the seafari model feel free to asked, after i stripped mine i now know every crack and crevice on the damn boat
