Bunker,

the fuel tank is above the deck on 60's and early 70's. Not sure why you need to remove the liner for a deck-hull joint? Can't you just fasten it with screws? The liner could be difficult to remove, you just don't know until you try. If the bedding compound is really secure, it could be a real pain. Hope you have a block and tackle set up to lift it out. Don't pay much at all for a boat that needs that kind of work.
