Can’t really say if it’s a good or bad idea. If you plan on removing the core of the liner when its out, I would think you will need a pretty good means of supporting the liner while its out and upside down. I’m sure you have re-cored a hatch and can see there isn’t much there once the wood is removed. Depending on the space from the liner to the stringers, it could be expensive just to replace the bedding. I had to take part of the transom with my liner when I replaced the transom. The spots above the rear hatches on the transom were tough as nails. [img]images/icons/mad.gif[/img]
