Gary,

We don't have too much debris here. BUT, I will admit that the plastic bracket is a little flimsy. I'm going to re-install it with s/s washers and 4200 behind it against the hull to firm it up.

Anyway, still works great. The speed was off on the Garmin 160 Blue, but it has a calibrate (w/ GPS) feature that works good. The units reads the bottom well up to the 45 MPH top speed.
