Re: 18' Seacraft Wanted
That seems a little pricey to me, but a lot comes down to if things are as they seem. I think I got a pretty good deal, paying $3,750 for a 1975 18' hull and a 1995 Loadmaster float-on aluminum trailer. That was all I got, literally. No motor, bimini, ground tackle, seat(s), cushions, lines...nothing!
But the hull is in great shape, and I put on a brand new motor, Birdsall rocket launcher, Garmin depthfinder and GPS, anchors, lines, dive tank holders, etc., etc. I have close to 15k in it as she sits, but that's about half what a buddy just paid for a new 20' Sailfish (which comes out of an old Seacraft variable deadrise mold).
I've seen a couple Seacrafts that looked like they were really ready for the chainsaw fetch a few grand... Good Luck!!!!
