Wow, what a great time! The 2 hours we spent easily made the 7 hr. (each way) trip worthwhile.
Here's the 2 images Robin was kind enough to take for us (Thanks, Robin for being such a great sport):
From the left: Otto, Scott, RBRboats (Christian), Salty Dog (Tom), and Frank, who bought his 23' new in '79. All great guys. From strangers to total buddies in minutes.
We got back at midnight. Piece o' Cake. We'll come down anytime. In fact Boston and the Cape are about the same drive for us. Our 3rd on the trip is a Rochester cop and was fearless driving 85+ during his shift. Oh, yea, don't let SaltyDog fool ya, he snores right up there with the best of em.
Finster, sorry we missed you, but enjoyed talking to you on the phone. Hope you're feeling better.
Jeff, sorry you couldn't hang. Lil Jack was a good sport; been there...
Christian, great to meet you and hope you consider Trayder's question/suggestion on making an RC SeaCraft. I'll place my order right away.
Frank, look forward to seeing you on here.
Scott, enjoyed meeting you and (oh, yea) Robin. You, Jeff and Finster and the logical ones to initiate and host a get-together this spring. I have a lot of flexability and would tow down early and help out. How about Sandy Hook, or L.I. to attract the Conn folks. Would you RI and Mass guys be up for that? How about Chesapeake guys? I'll bet we could get 20 boats easy on the first try. I think we uncovered just the tip of the iceberg. We'll talk...
Trayder, thanks for gettin it started.
Regards,
Otto
