Re: repowering with 250 yamaha
A Ft Laud dealer checked through his computer listings to find an older, but new (under warranty) model Yamaha 250; he located one, counter-rotation, with a 30" shaft, asking $9,300.00 (without gauges, harness, etc.). He said rigging it up, parts and labor, would bring total to $11,000.00. But my worry is: if I use a single bracket... an old (but never used) cast-aluminum Gil bracket that I've been holding for now... how do I make allowance for the longer (5 inch longer) shaft?
