With the rear hatch out exposing the last foot of the tank, I can see no significant wiring or access to the cable raceways. When I reach down thru the access ports I can feel where the harness goes in on the other side of the stringer from the tank but I don't feel anything locking it - course it doesn't budge either.

Lifting out the center hatch right now would be a major PIA since it runs full length under the console and the console might need to come up as well to get it out. That's why I'm prayin' for a shortcut.

Here is a pic of the raceways in an I/O model. I think (and assume) that the cable raceways on the OB models runs more parralel to the tank instead of extending wawy from the tank on the I/O's - anyone know for sure (not rippping my deck out to know)
