Thank you for the reply.I am going to tackle it right now .
I was considering cutting in 1 or 2 inspection plates 1 on deck and 1 on gunnel low.perhaps this will help in stopping me from hacking it up.when you say "threadad the new length of hose on the gunnel side" do you mean you coupled them with a barbed coupling or how did you attach the rope ?
