Re: fuel tank

I love the room and access you have into you console. I wish CSY kept the older design of the console. I have a forward seat with small livewell / cooler area built into my console so the access is only through the back , while I'm laying on my belly. Anyway, I'm considering moving my batteries from the rear corner wells to under the console, just because it's a drier spot. As far as the tank is concerned, I'm about to remove the old tank and inspect the bottom. It is foamed in on the sides, and is sitting on a bed of glass and 3/4 " plywood. The bed is attached to the hull along the outside edges where the large box stingers are. There is no center stringer on this boat for the tank to rest on. I hope I've explained this so you understand. I know the back edge of the wood is wet and will have to see how bad this piece is. The wood does have glass on both sides of it, unlike some other members boats who have indicated their bases were only top coated in glass.
