Yes, a 4Runner pulled that thing through the hills of Pennsylvania all the way to CT! Tow vehicle was a 2004 4Runner sport with the iForce V8 engine. Same engine as the Sequoia. The 03 and o4 models are larger than the older 4Runners. I never intended to tow anything that large, that far, however desperate times call for desperate measures. We weighed the set up at the T/A center down the road and came up with: 2640, 2700, 5660 on each axle, front to back, for a total of 11,000.

With the boat disconnected to measure the tongue weight, we came up with this: 4Runner- 4920lbs, Tongue 420lbs, and boat axles 5680lbs. For a total of 11,020.
