I caution you to be careful what and how much you cut out of that splashwell and the below baitwell. Those sections are part of the structual members of the transom!!! [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

You could have serious problems if they are removed and you do not re-support the transom inside with some knee walls etc. epecially if a bracket is installed [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]
